At Weissach UK, we put a lot of time and energy into our relationship with the Porsche Club GB to ensure that its members receive benefits from the club supporting our little family run Business, in Byley – the Heart of Cheshire (a term infamously coined by Byley Coaches, so many moons ago).

On Saturday 1st of June 2024, we saw the first open morning of the year with 70+ cars gracing the trading estate at Weissach UK. We had pastries and a coffee van on site, along with our own re branded Evian waters and plenty of staff to direct and park cars, plus a good turn of the Region 5 committee to assist with any queries on the day.

The weather was with us and we were really happy with the event and its success, we saw a lot more modern Porsches than we have in previous years, we counted 13 Gt3’s of which 3 or 4 were 992’s.

We had the benefit on the day of utilising the not yet fully open car storage facility on site, meaning a good 30+ cars were parked indoors showing how great a facility it will be when fully finished. If you have any car storage needs, short or long term – make an enquiry at and we can get you all the relevant information.

We had in our opinion, two stars of the show on ramps, which we had been carrying out work on the week before the open morning – the first – a white, 11,000 mile 997.2 Gt3 RS 4.0 which we carried out work on after its recent Spanish trip with car club SuperCar Driver, before it went on its next trip to the Dolomites in Italy, again with SuperCar Driver (we love seeing these low numbers, high value cars being used properly!).

The second highlight of the day in our opinion, we had a Singer Targa on the alignment ramp known as the Sheffield car (hence the reg 911 SFD – for Sheffield) this car had just come back from Singer UK for some fettling and was with us for a number of days to carry out a few minor pieces of work before the owner took it to daily on the nice weather days, he clocked up over 4,000 miles in the last year! Legend.

We ran a completion for names in a hat to win an oil and filter service on the day and a Mr Drakes with his Porsche 964 30 Jahre Anniversary car was pulled out of the hat. We are looking forward to having that purple beauty grace our ramps.
